SCREEN PRINTING: Last week I had a go at screen printing. I wanted to experiment with my icons to see what I could achieve putting the drawings through a different process. At first, Fred wasn’t too sure whether they would all work well, and in the end, he was right. The only one which took to the plate was Jay-Z. Lil’ Wanye & Kanye didn’t want to play, so unfortunately I only got to produce one print. I am going to have another go at some point this week to see if I can get the others to work. I really love how this has turned out however, and even though some of the detail has been lost, if anything it adds to the print. The plum colour looks nice on my wall!
